TextBanner is the Java API to generate text banner in GIF, PNG, JPEG or WBMP by JAI (Java Advanced Imaging API). The width/hight of the image can be specified along with the font size. You can also specify the text color and the background color. (In case of WBMP, there is only one color combination: black text on white background.) This Java API is useful to show the simple image with the arbitrary text. For instance, Servlet can generate the GIF image with the random string that will be shown beneath the CGI form.
